The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) invites open tenders for the construction of a Central Explosive Magazine Building for the NSG Campus Regional Hub at Chennai. This composite project encompasses comprehensive civil works including the construction of the magazine building with an underground sump, rock cutting and anchor bolt installation, RCC blast walls, RCC walls over a hilltop, RCC counter fort retaining walls, chain link fencing, and both internal and external electrical installations. Furthermore, the project incorporates fire alarm and fire fighting systems, CCTV, EPABX, UPS, pump sets, and streetlights. The estimated cost of the project is ₹15,25,39,967, and the time allowed for completion is 14 months. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹25,25,400 is required in the form of DD, FDR, BC, or BG in favor of Project Region Chennai - CE-CHENNAI - EE-CHENNAI-IV. Key dates include the document download end date and bid submission deadline of September 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM, and the bid opening date of September 1, 2025, at 11:30 AM. Bidders must submit mandatory documents including Insurance Surety Bonds, Account Payee Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque/Fixed Deposit Receipt/Bank Guarantee for EMD, Enlistment order, GST Registration Certificate (or Undertaking letter), Form F, Form H (Notarized Affidavit on Non-black listing), Form I, ERP Training certificate and valid Electrical contractor license (or undertaking to obtain one).
