The Central Public Works Department (CPWD), a Central Government Ministry/Department, invites open tenders for the construction and associated works at NIT Puducherry, Karaikal. NIT/RFP NO is 05/EE&SM(C)-II/KPD-II/2025-26. This project encompasses a wide range of construction activities, including the construction of a 456-bed boys' hostel (Block No. 2, G+ structure), vertical extension of the girls' hostel by two floors, a common amenities center (22 units of Type 3 quarters and 48 units of Type 4 quarters), a 300-seater semi-permanent dining block, an indoor sports complex building, and comprehensive development works such as moorum and gravel filling, internal roads, footpaths, pathways, paved areas, cross-drainage works, storm water drainage, external and internal water supply, an underground sump, street lighting, a precast compound wall for the existing girls' hostel, and open and covered car parking areas, also open sport infrastructure. The scope also includes assisting and accounting planning nature of work and other office works in O/o SE and PD, EE and SM C II, AE 3 and AE 4, CPWD, Karaikal for the period of 04.09.2025 to 03.03.2026. The estimated cost of the project is ₹10,81,002 with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹21,620, payable via DD, FDR, CDR, BC, or BG in favor of EE&SM(C)-2. The last date for document download and bid submission is 28-Aug-2025 at 03:00 PM, with the bid opening scheduled for 28-Aug-2025 at 03:30 PM.
