The Executive Engineer REW Jammu, representing the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, invites open tenders for the construction of Community Compost Pits at multiple locations: Ward No. 1, Panchayat Chattha; Babliana, Panchayat Babliana; and Ward No. 5, Panchayat Satwari, Block Satwari, under the SBM-G scheme for the year 2025-26. This project, referenced as e-NIT No. 249-REWJ of 2025 Dated 25-08-2025, is valued at ₹1,08,000, with a work completion period of 30 days. Interested bidders must submit a percentage-based tender with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹2,160, equivalent to 2.0% of the tender value, payable to the Executive Engineer REW Jamm. A non-refundable tender fee of ₹500 is applicable, payable to the Govt. treasury Jammu. The tender documents, including the NIT and BOQ, can be downloaded from 25-Aug-2025 06:00 PM to 01-Sep-2025 06:00 PM. Bids must be submitted online from 25-Aug-2025 06:00 PM to 01-Sep-2025 06:00 PM. The bid opening is scheduled for 02-Sep-2025 at 10:00 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer REW Jammu. The tender involves a two-cover system: the first cover includes scanned copies of all bid documents as specified in the NIT and scanned copy of Tender Fee and the second cover contains the BOQ. Bids must remain valid for 45 days.
