Indian Air Force Telecommunication Infrastructure Upgrade: JFC Cables, DP Boxes, and Civil Works

The Indian Air Force, under the Department of Military Affairs and the Ministry of Defence, is issuing an invitation for bids (Bid Number: GEM/2026/B/7586744) for the procurement of essential telecommunication infrastructure components. This tender, dated 10-07-2026, will commence on 11-09-2026 at 12:00 PM and conclude on 12-09-2026 at 12:00 PM. The primary focus of this procurement is the supply and installation of various types of unarmoured Jelly Filled Cables (JFC) and associated accessories. Specifically, the requirement includes 20 pairs of 0.5 mm unarmoured JFC, 50 pairs of 0.5 mm unarmoured JFC, HDPE Pipe, DP Boxes mounted with GI Pipes and Krone connectors for both 50-pair and 20-pair configurations, as well as 50-pair and 20-pair Jointing Kits. The tender also encompasses the provision of route markers, road crossings with GI pipes, and the execution of digging and trenching services in accordance with BSNL standard specifications, including horizontal depth drilling to a depth of 3.5 feet. The total estimated quantity for this comprehensive project is 26,295 units, and the undertaking will be managed by the designated office within Darjeeling.
