Comprehensive Server Room Infrastructure and IT Networking Installation

This tender, initiated by the Centre For Development Of Advanced Computing (c-dac) under the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, is for the provision of a comprehensive suite of server room infrastructure and IT networking solutions. The scope of work encompasses the construction of brick masonry partition walls with a 2-hour fire rating, installation of steel doors, and anti-static raised access flooring. The project also requires a complete server room electrical and lighting system, including a Main LT Server Room Power Distribution Panel with AMF ATS, a 2.0 TR 5-star inverter split AC, GI perforated cable tray, and various power distribution cables (4C x 16 sq mm Cu XLPE Main Incoming Cable, 3C x 4 sq mm Cu Rack PDU Feed Cable, 3C x 1.5 sq mm Cu Lighting Cable, 3C x 2.5 sq mm Cu Utility Socket Cable, 16 sq mm Cu Earthing Conductor Cable). Furthermore, the tender includes the supply and installation of cable glands, lugs, and termination accessories, a UPS-backed rack power distribution system, and a four-zone water leak detection system. Environmental monitoring solutions such as temperature and relative humidity monitoring, an ultrasonic rodent repellent system, and a VESDA aspirating smoke detection system are also part of this tender. The project further specifies the installation of uPVC partitions with toughened glass and uPVC double leaf doors. For networking, the tender requires Cat6 and Cat6A UTP cabling, including laying, caching, and capping, along with Cat6 patch cords of varying lengths, Cat6 Information Outlets with SMB, Cat6 24-port loaded patch panels, SFP transceivers with accessories, and comprehensive installation, labeling, and marking of network outlets and patch panels.
