Sewage and Effluent Treatment Plant Operation & Maintenance Services at Birsa Munda Airport

This tender seeks to appoint a qualified and experienced contractor for a comprehensive work contract concerning the operation and maintenance of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) at Birsa Munda Airport, Ranchi, under the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Ministry of Civil Aviation. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, providing operation and maintenance services, both preventive and breakdown, for a period of two years. Specific tasks detailed within the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) encompass the supply and replacement of essential components such as 100mm diameter pressure gauges and V-belts for air blowers. Furthermore, the contract will involve the dismantling, overhauling, servicing, lifting, lowering, painting, and reinstallation of various types of centrifugal pumpsets (up to 2 HP and above 2 HP up to 5 HP), as well as hydro-pneumatic systems (2.5 HP and 5.5 HP). The tender also requires rewinding services for blower motors of capacities 20 HP and 3 HP. Crucially, the contractor will be responsible for the supply of various industrial chemicals and consumables, including Industrial Salt, Poly electrolyte, Sodium Hypo Chlorite, Alum, Lime, Gear oil for air compressors, Teflon tape, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits (protective work wear, hand gloves, eyegear, and masks). Finally, the scope includes conducting essential water quality tests such as PH, BOD, COD, Suspended Solids, Total Dissolved Solids, and Oil and Grease, as well as MLSS.
