TNEB Limited, through its Chief Engineer/Hydro, TNGECL, invites proposals for the selection of a developer for the 1000 MW/6000 MWh Velimalai Pumped Storage Hydro-Electric Project, situated in the Kanyakumari District. This significant works project, under the Ministry of Power Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Guidelines (Section 63) through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) model, is identified by Tender Reference Number CE/Hydro/SE/PD and C/OT.NO.02 /2025-2026.
