3 MW AC Solar PV Power Plant with 1 MW / 4 MWh Battery Storage System Installation and Operation

Chennai Port Trust, through the Office of The Chief Mechanical Engineer, is inviting sealed bids for an Open Tender (Tender ID: 2026_ChPT_929783_1, Tender Reference Number: MEE/29/2026/Dy.CME(MP and OH)) for the selection of a developer for a comprehensive project. This project entails the design, engineering, supply, financing, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of a grid-connected 3 MW AC solar PV power plant integrated with a 1 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage system. The total tender value is estimated at ₹20,00,00,000. The bidding process will be conducted in two covers, with the Fee/PreQual/Technical cover requiring a scanned copy of various eligibility documents including audited Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets for FY 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26, relevant work orders with completion certificates, DD/Banker's Cheque or FD/Bank Guarantee towards EMD of ₹40,00,000, GST, registration details, ESI, EPF, PAN, Power of Attorney, Rule 144 (Xi) GFR 2017 declaration, any other relevant documents, Integrity Pack, TDS traces for private firm works, Bank Guarantee or FD favoring the Chairman, Chennai Port Authority with proper validity, Local Content Declaration, self-certification of public procurement, and experience details as per Annexure. An MSME certificate can be submitted for EMD exemption. The Finance cover will contain the Price Bid.
