Publication and Research for Indian Military Awardees and Heroes Book

The Department of Military Affairs, under the Ministry of Defence, and on behalf of the Indian Army, is pleased to announce an open tender for the creation and publication of a significant historical work. This tender, identified by Bid Number GEM/2026/B/8197519, seeks to compile and produce the "MILITARY AWARDEES AND HEROES BOOK." The scope of this crucial project encompasses detailed research and compilation on a comprehensive range of military commendations, including but not limited to Chakra awardees of the 1965 Indo-Pak War (Volume 1), Military Heroes of Haryana, Delhi, HP, and Jammu, Gallantry Award Winners of the 1965 India-China War, Victoria Cross recipients of the Indian Army, and Chakra awardees of the Kargil War. A total quantity of nine (9) units of this publication is required. Bids will be accepted from October 24, 2026, at 2:34 PM, with the submission deadline set for November 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
