Kathara Colliery Power Transformer Refurbishment and Reinstallation

Central Coalfields Limited, through the Project Engineer (EnM) at Kathara Colliery, is pleased to announce an open tender opportunity for the comprehensive dismantling and installation of a 3MVA, 11KV/3.3KV power transformer. This critical project, designated under Tender Reference Number KTC/PE/EnM/2026-27/47 dated 04.11.2026, encompasses the complete dismantling of the existing transformer, including oil draining, removal of wings and conservator, followed by its reinstallation. The scope further includes fitting the wings, performing oil filtration, and necessary part repairs. This electrical and maintenance works tender pertains to the power transformer for the Staff Colony Feeder, situated at the Regional Sub-Station within Kathara Colliery.
