The Central Public Works Department (CPWD), a Central Government Ministry/Department, invites open tenders for the construction of a 135 feet earthen bundh, metalled road, and Naka cum machan fighting bunkers along existing fencing along the 179 km international border in the Jammu sector along the Indo-Pakistan Border. This composite work, categorized as Civil Works - Roads, encompasses the construction of earthen bundh, lateral road, ditch and Naka cum machan fighting bunkers, including water supply, sanitary installation, and internal electrical installation in District Jammu, Samba & Kathua under Jammu sector on EPC Mode-Package-IV BOP Old Kana Chak to BOP OP Chenab. The estimated cost of this project is ₹ 1,89,48,25,370 and the time allowed for completion is 27 months. Interested bidders must submit an EMD of ₹ 1,99,48,254 via DD, FDR, BC, or BG in favour of the Executive Engineer, Border Fencing Division, CPWD, Paloura, Jammu.
